The Bastion

This formidable keep is perched atop a rugged hill at the base of the Summers Range, the imposing stone walls standing as a testimate to its origins.
Originally built as a stronghold to protect against threats from the Oswarian Sea and the monstrocities that roam the Frozen Isles it has been repurposed into a thriving stronghold for the the Ravens Ilk.

Originally a sturdy keep with high walls and simple interior, it has been reinforced and augmented iwth additional layers of stone and sturdy wooden barricades. Tall watchtwoers punctuate the perimeter, offering an unobstructed view of the surrounding countryside, simple flames can be seen flickering within the observation posts.

Exterior

Walls

A combination of regal aesthetics and defensive features span the building. The strudy stone walls are built to withstand seiges, featuring crenellations at the top, allowing archers to defend the fortress. The exterior walls are embellished with decorative banners cut into the shape of a front facing raven head.

Gatehouse

The enterance to the keep is guarded by a formidable gatehouse. Reinforced heavy wooden doors wrapped with iron bands stand across a sizable gap where a drawbridge rests lowered down. A portcullis can be seen with black points aimed out of the keep.

Towers

The keep is cornered and crowned by six tall watchtowers, lined with narrow arrow slits and blazing braziers light up the tops of the towers with an amber-white light. When a threat appears the watchmen rings a bell to alert the city of an approaching threat.
