Aranic (Golden Men)

The Aranic were a nomadic race from the region known as 'Rûthana'. In ancient texts, they are described as tall, 'standing a head taller than other men' and 'golden', though it us unknown if this was in reference to hair colour i.e they were blonde, that their skin was 'golden' or if in fact the texts describe their famed chariots, so ubiquitous were they that is was common myth that every Aranic man and woman had their own.   What is known is that their greatest legacy, was their blood. They absorbed several populations of men in their migrations but the greatest mixture of populations occurred with the Nemetians, the natives of the continent Hebronia. Up until recently, it was theorized by scholars that the Aranic were a very war-like people who forcefully subjugated populations through violence. However, at the time of their migration into Hebronia, the continent was heavily forested, making it ill-suited for cavalry and warfare in general. It is more likely that they simply intermarried with local tribes until their blood became so diluted, they ceased to exist.
