The Conflict
Prelude
By the 9th decade ABE, Amled, the Deity of Instinct and Despair was already ready to begin the War of Doom. And therefore he decided to start it by attacking the most vulnerable capital of Lindrinor: the halfling capital of Syrup. For the first 3 years of that decade, he planned his future attacks, including this one.
Battlefield
The Bridgelum's Defenders tried to contain the hordes and hordes of Void Monsters, but they were too many. The soldiers, with the people they were supposed to protect, all died by the forces of Amled.
Outcome
- Thousands of halflings lost their lives
- The city of Syrup was utterly destroyed
- The Royal Family, the Sackins, were all killed
- The War of Doom began
Aftermath
- All the halflings of the Kingdom of Bridgelum migrated to Rockvar after the First Massacre. They stayed there until the end of the war, when most of them migrated to the Southern Lands and founded the new capital city of Spés
