Sulfilia
Transmission & Vectors
Sulfilia is acquired by eating Bennington's Fish meat that was not treated/eaten with Purple Sea Leaf.
Causes
The cause of this desease is due to the contamination of one's body to a protein called Sulfurin (which have a characteristic smell of leachant), expelled from a very specific micro algae that live in the stomaches of Bennington's Fishes.
Symptoms
The main symptom of this condition is the sudden and uncharacteristic need to ingest food containing high amounts of sulfur (such as rotten eggs or demonic meat)
Treatment
This condition may be treated with any magical spell that may protect one from poisons. Furthermore, it is said that eating huge-large quantities of Purple Sea Leaf can help attenuate te symptoms, but not treat the condition entirely, for Sulfurin tends to accumulate in living tissues.
Prognosis
If someone that has sulfilia does not eat sulphur food for around 3 days, they'll develop symptoms similar to when someone is going through cocaine abstinence. Psychosis and paranoia also surges near the 7th day without eating sulphur.
Prevention
Not eating Bennington's Fish would prevent acquiring the condition entirely. However, if one do wants to eat it, they can prevent acquiring the toxin by mixing the fish with Purple Sea Leaf
Epidemiology
Being a very rare and unique condition, it is not common to find people afflicted by it. However, due to Bennington fish being common in the deep-seas, the condition can be commonly found by the sapient creatures that live in these regions.
