Demographics
Despite being a city where Charcarons holds the governmental power, most inhabitants are Osthions. This is due to the ability of the fish-folk to reproduce way faster than Charcaron.
Government
Being the capital of the Charcaron Empire, the emperor himself is the one responsible for governing Charthorp.
Defences
- The city has thousands of tiger, hammerhead and white sharks in their disposal to use as a defensive army should they need to defend the city
- Mounted Balistas make up for the majority of the ranged defences of Charthorp
- Being situated at The Great Abyss, Charthorp has a natural geographic defence
Industry & Trade
- For obvious reasons, the production, collection and hunt of seafood (mainly fish) is one of the main trades of Charthorp. They trade a lot with the surface (especially with the Kingdom of Heim) in that sense
- Some Charcaron blacksmiths are masters of crafting tridents and spears. Therefore, the city is known to have an abundant and powerful industry that create such good fighting equipment. Furthermore, the production of Shark-Scale leather armours is also very lucrative for this city.
- Tourism is also a strong trade in Charthorp, for many surface-dwellers want to visit the abyssal city and get to know its unique customs and way of living
History
- It was founded many years after Iridionisi was colonized by the Iridios. The Charcarons didn't find a good and safe place to establish themselves onto the archipelago, so they decided to travel somewhere to finds their home. Eventually they found it, among the Great Abyss of the Central Islands
Tourism
Many people from the surface, especially daring adventurers and curious researchers, want to visit this city. And in fact they do. Yearly, thousands of these people go to Charthorp to visit the city.
