Kurami Kobayashi (クラミ コバヤシ Ku-ra-mi Ko-ba-ya-shi)

Kurami Kobayashi was born and raised in Shinjuku, Tokyo, spending his early years navigating the bustling cityscape while enduring the struggles of adolescence. Throughout his school years, he struggled with constant fidgeting and attention issues, which often made him a target for ridicule from both peers and teachers. His restlessness, impulsive tendencies, and difficulty focusing in rigid academic settings led to feelings of frustration and isolation. However, his perspective began to change after, he joined the Hidora Clan meeting Jurian, a Yoshimura Family Lieutenant who recognized his struggles and helped him develop more meaningfull strategies to manage them. Through patience and guidance, Jurian and others in the clan provided the support and understanding that had been absent in his childhood, allowing Kurami to embrace his strengths rather than feel trapped by his challenges, and the mistreatetment by doctors and specalists in the past who where unable to help him.   His family maintained deep ties to the Wada Corporation, an organization built on a blend of Yakuza tradition and corporate ambition. Expected to follow in his family’s footsteps, Kurami entered the security sector of Wada Corp, training under their strict hierarchy. However, he quickly grew disillusioned with their brutal methods and lack of ethical boundaries. The corporation’s focus on enforcing power through intimidation, extortion, and covert eliminations clashed with his personal values. Seeing the corruption firsthand, he made the difficult decision to walk away, severing ties with his family and abandoning the organization that had shaped his upbringing.   Refusing to transition into civilian life, Kurami sought a way to reapply his skills in a more honorable fashion. After researching security firms in Tokyo, he discovered an organization that aligned with his beliefs one that provided protection without resorting to the merciless tactics of the Wada Corporation. Determined to prove both to himself and his family that he could forge his own path, he applied to join the firm, ready to embrace a new chapter of his life as a member of the Hidora Clan.  

Post Retirement

After five months with the Hidora Clan, Kurami realized he didn’t belong. His odd love and also hypcroscy when it came to discipline clashed with the clan’s values, leaving him isolated once again. Believing he could change what once corrupted him, he returned to the Wada Corporation as a low-ranking staff member. Though he still despised their ruthless methods, he hoped to reform them from within. His dedication earned him a place in Wada’s elite H.O.R.N.S. security division, a covert unit handling internal threats.   His mission led him to a Shinagawa warehouse, where a rogue Keihin Gang faction plotted against Wada. The operation turned violent Kurami fought fiercely until a forklift’s strike brought him down. Bleeding and alone, he used his last strength to send the warehouse coordinates, securing the mission’s success. In his final moments, he found the purpose he had always sought not in loyalty to Wada, but in fulfilling a duty he could call his own.
