Wood-wasp combs
While intent and design comes to much of the fashion of Levis, the combs given this name are discovered by luck alone.
Wood wasps of the Mepovaris region live within constructed hollows within the paperbark trees. Living an omnivorous life off tree pulp and insects, they reguritate the pulp/insect combo into gaps within the hollow for their larvaed young: but if their young perish, they leave behind a resin-like comb.
Rare but distinctive, these combs have a amber-green tint to them, and are used to pin and sculpt hair into new and elaborate shapes. Often reshaped to have a wicked sharp point, the sting of a comb is considered bad luck.
