The Last Stop

  In the deep reaches of the Forbidden Forest, on the junction of the high path and the Path of the broken way. lies the last stop before the middle of nowhere - or the first stop on the way back to society, depending on how you take it. An unofficial principality of Natare, the Last Stop is a tavern, an outhouse and a small games den. And all of it is housed in Fey Comet mutated plant life.   Drawing in smuggler and gambler, adventurer and tracker - the last stop is a neutral zone for demons and a supply depot for journeys deeper into the Forbidden Forest off the paths. Its buildings flap with weird blue butterfly wings embedded into the fabric of the plants, and circuit tattoos criss cross the haphazard things in an effort to keep it all together.   The bar is a long log, dying and dragged from outside - replaced once it rots all the way through. What is on tap is whatever has been hauled from other parts of Levis - a trade from the raiders and pirates as they barter for continued use of the shed out the back. Demons have crafted corrugated metal sheeting over the back shed - to both keep the rain off during the wet months, and to try and calm the teeth that grow up from the walls, gnashing mouths that seek to disrupt the games of tiles and dice and two-up.   Natare sends its own trade to the Stop - to keep it going so that information can be gleaned from those who inhabit the tavern, and to allow safe passage of its more important hunters and trackers and officials, in a mutual understanding that some things need well enough alone.   Come to the Stop, you'll have fun here.
