Mammals of Infernus

Across Infernus there are many creatures that live and survive and play there. Here are some to follow.

Gribblins

Naturally magnetic, these little joys of wonder are aggressively cute in a world build for hardship. Six inches of hopping mouse, with a long thin tail, a vibrating type energy and eyes as big as half their heads, these earless things use their magnetism to form a light shell of iron refuse, hiding in mining and forging offshoot in order to feed on the bugs that feed off the smaller iron particles the progress of the demons produce.

Zhulion

Long, thin neck, horse like face with rabbit-like ears and a curved unicorn like horn. All on an otter body. Living on a diet of fish and creatures that get too close to the boiling lakes that the Zhulion swim in, this aquatic mammal completes its diet by swallowing boiling stones from the superhot lake beds and using them as both digestive aid and ballast, regurgitating the rocks when it needs to surface to breathe.   They grow no bigger than a small rabbit, but their bloodthirsty nature makes them something to fear as they are perfectly willing to go after larger prey should the larger creature show weakness.

Fraken

Hairless and with a roughly scaley hide, these grey-white quadrapeds have a semi erect tail that hangs over their skunk-like bodies. Their tails open like orrifices to expose a slowly formed and mucus coated shard of osmium. They use this shard to defend from predators and blind prey as the shard sublimates into a colourless but highly noxious gas.   These omnivorous creatures feed on sprint-lizards and the leeching plants around Infernus though how they travel past the valleys of safety in Infernus is currently unknown.
