Celentrist, the cosmic bard

The cosmic bard plays across the night sky. With the brightest star in her throat, Celentrist Prime, the cosmic bard has been a centrepoint for those who look to the stars as inspiration both mage, science, and the supernatural.

Given Levis is in the southern hemisphere, Celentrist spins westward through the night sky, a beacon for those who follow the call of music and the muse it provides.

In mythology and legend, she has been many things, from consort to an old celestial king who banished her into the heavens, to the bard who whispered music into the ears of the first god.

Those who map the land of Levis often use Celentrist Prime as a guiding light, and those who run by sea right themselves by her position in the sky. The bard is brightest in the colder months of the year, and her presence is often a sign of great fortune.

Inspiration of the stars:   Mages have crafted circuits after her beauty, the shape of which projects the sounds plugged into it, be it a recording or a person's voice. Circuits fashioned after Celentrist are delicate, and usually require an expert typographer, or a skilled mage with a skilled hand.   It was research into Celentrist Prime that led to knowledge of the difference between gas giant and star and it was Celentrist that was the focus of the construction of the telescope in Saburra .   Celentrist is part of several mystic beliefs, most specifically it is the second card in the most common deck of divination used in most of Lower Levis.
