The Kingdom of Hlulane is a struggling country forced to bend to the will of their masters in Le Zhea, the ancient remnants of a once vast empire. The country is on the southwestern reaches of the Divide, the great mountain range that splits the continent in two. Separated from most of mankind because of the deserts to their east, Hlulane and its neighbours have suffered under the oppression of the Zhean people for as long as anyone can remember. There have been brief periods of independence when the power of the empire has waned, but freedom has been fleeting.
