House Sarantidis

House Sarantidis is one of the Great Houses of Kratiros, currently charged with the oversight of the Kruos Province.

Structure

Like all Kratiran noble houses, House Sarantidis is organised by blood relation. At present, the family have a main branch and two cadet branches.

Public Agenda

House Sarantidis is in an awkward position in Kratiran politics. Elevated by House Endrai to oversee the Kruos Province from which the ruling house originally came, Sarantidis is a strong supporter of Endrai's rule as they know that their own position would be significantly reduced if another house should take the throne. However the depredations of the Apeilibad Tribes have led the house to seek spport from and become members of The Militants faction, which is led by one of House Endrai's primary rivals for the throne. Support conflict with Iskotauros. Build fortresses to protect the empire's western border.

History

House Sarantidis began as a major house that was vassalised to House Endrai. The families have a long history of closeness and many marriage ties between them. When House Endrai ascended to the Lion Throne, House Sarantidis became the natural choice to take over stewardship of their home province and powerbase.
