Culture
Culture and cultural heritage
The Norsemen of Rimeterra are a tough people, as they live in harsh conditions. And everything they do reflect that, especially in Bastionheim. They tend to want to rely on their own power to survive, without the want of help from foreigners. They care a lot about old family and social traditions, production and technology, and overcoming the cold harsh lands of Rimeterra.
Wealth and Fortune
Norsemen are all about self reliance, and producing everything themselves. They feel wealthy and fortunate if they run their own businesses, and they always want to take matters into their own hands - which is why there is very little gambling and games of luck. They are very liberal and if you are not making something or run a business, you are overlooked. Beggars and unemployed people rarely get any help.Common Dress code
Most people don't care much about looks, they care about functionality and practicality. Even nobles, Lords and Ladies care more about being able to move freely, than looking dapper.
