Basic Traits

Versatile. You gain one general talent of your choice.   Relentless Endurance. When you are reduced to 0 hit points but not killed outright, you can drop to 1 hit point instead. Once you use this trait, you can’t do so again until you finish a long rest.  

Ancestry Traits

Outcast. While in an urban or highly populated environment, you have Adv. on stealth and deception.   Ferocious. You deal additional physical damage equal to your Prof. bonus with retaliation and opportunity attacks.   Fast Recovery. You have an additional Hit Die per day and you add your proficiency bonus to the healing amount when you spend a Hit Die to heal yourself.   Sea Scout. You have Adv. on sight based Perception checks when overlooking large bodies of water.   Sickness Begone. You have Adv. on saving throws against catching a disease or illness. Additionally you have Adv. on recalling knowledge about sickness or diseases.   Oceanic Sign Language. During your Sea Roving upbringing you have learned a secret mix of sign codes that allows you to communicate with other Sea Rovers using the same sign language. Only another creature that knows OSL understands such messages. It takes four times longer to convey such a message than it does to speak the same idea with normal speech. In addition, you understand a set of Secret signs and Symbols used to convey short, simple messages, such as whether an area is dangerous or the territory of a thieves' guild, whether loot is nearby, or whether the people in an area are easy marks or will provide a Safe House for thieves on the run.
