Becoming Scrap Worthy - 05 - Aldronard's Grave

The party gathered their horses and equipment, ready to head out of Torch. They are joined by two more members that answered the call for mercenaries. Dohn Joe a Goblin Gunslinger and a friend of Skitters and a mysterious stranger that seems to have a complicated story and looking for somewhere that he belongs called Geri.   After a few days of travelling the party got to know each other a little better.   Arriving at the fort, the party waits for night to sneak in. Inside the fort they discover that the Smilers have been busy smoking "meat" and eating their prisoners and victims. Using spells and abilities they party infiltrated the fort without any trouble, until Sama King fell through the roof of the chapel and accidentally disturbed a tormented spirit.
 
The screeching wail of the ghost tears through the silent halls of the fortress, a sound like metal grinding against bone. The cry echoes through rusted corridors and broken stairwells, bouncing off walls of steel and stone until it reaches even the deepest pits below.   The Smilers stir.
