Using Arts
To use an art of a particular school, you must be in a stance belonging to that school.
Art Flow
When you perform arts, your stance shifts (subtly or significantly depending on your style). You remain in your stance, but now you are in a different mental or physical state to perform your next art. This is core basis of your art flow.
What this means is that when you perform an art, you are no longer in a state you can use any art of the same form or realm (including the one just used). Arts of that form or realms are considered to be out of flow. You must wait a number of rounds equal to the art's form or realm as you adjust your art flow before you are returned to a state where you can perform arts of that level once again.
While you are adjusting your art flow, you are able to use arts of other forms or realms, but they too will initiate an adjustment period in your stance for arts of their respective forms or realms.
You may force yourself to perform an art whose form or realm is out of flow, but this requires strenuous effort. Performing an art out of flow requires expending stamina equal to the art's form or realm. Once performed, the adjustment period for arts of that form or realm is reset.
