You automatically understand the language your targets are speaking or has written upon them. You can change targets while the spell is still active.

Refinements

Master of Tongues (+1)

You can speak or write in your target's language. When you speak or write a piece of text, you can be understood by a number of languages equal to your art's realm. You can choose which languages are understood each time you speak or write a sentence (up to 10 words per tier). If you are trained in Linguistics, you can increase the language limit by 5, with an additional 5 for every proficiency level higher.

Speak the Impossible (+2)

You can target creatures with Intelligence lower than -2 or are mindless and with objects. You do not hear or converse with such targets you normally would, but you instead understand their intent. If you combine this refinement with Master of Tongues, the target understands the intent of what you wish to communicate. Each type of lifeform counts as its own language for purposes of how many can be spoken at once with Master of Tongues.
