- Dia kindly heals a guard by punching him hard in the face.
- The UH quickly subdue (knock unconscious) the guard patrol outside of the Abbey of the Quil.
- During the fight Christol 'Kit' Abistel and Machali kill the archer outright.
- Upon concluding the fight, Ashe Cinders, Christol 'Kit' Abistel, and Jacq'ee Lumber proceed inside to talk to Edmun Chalker.
- In here they are provided with a stash of books which they are required to return when they are finished with them.
- As payment, Edmun Chalker asks that once their journey is over, that they return and allow the monks to document their stories, for future generations.
- Edmun Chalker discusses the The Green Ravens and subsequently recognizes Talon Gold.
- He informs Talon Gold of the original Talons history, specifically that he learned documented some of his findings regarding Dunamancy at the Abbey of the Quil.
- Edmun Chalker provides Talon with the Dunamancy books the original Talon left.
- Dia B. Lerist heads up the looting and retrieval of the subdued guards possessions.
- Christol 'Kit' Abistel's ring touches some blood of the dead archer whilst he pet's Machali. Imbuing the deceased' soul into the ring.
- The gang use The Golden Chalice to convert the subdued guards.
- Upon waking, the guards are confused and angered. Ashe Cinders and Christol 'Kit' Abistel fail to make a convincing case for the guards to return with them, given the fact that the UH murdered their friend.
- The group of guards choose to leave the Abbey of the Quil, with no plan or direction.
- Dia B. Lerist returns their valuables and equipment.
- After saying their goodbyes to Edmun Chalker, the UH begin their journey home.
- Shortly after casting their boats out into The Verdelen River, they begin to see dark shadows circling.
- Ashe Cinders panics and creates a tidal wave behind the boats in order to push them away from whatever is below.
- Machali and Talon Gold are unable to steady themselves in the boat and go overboard.
