Ziz (ziz)
Basic Information
Anatomy
They are enormous, Eagle like creatures with 3 wings sprouting from each shoulder. These wings have sharp, point tipped feathers aligning the edge of each wing. They have large curved beaks coming off from the face which has its set of 4 enormous eyes on the sides towards the top of the beak. Their legs are long and bird like with Parrot like feet and backward facing knees.
Biological Traits
Thanks to their immense size they have immense strength being able to shatter planets and in groups tug and move stars like dogs do a sleigh. Their speed is also great needing months to reach max speed which allows them to cross universes in a few weeks. Their flesh is similar in consistency to glass with metal like feathers but is strong enough to withstand swimming in stars. The feathers are extremely sharp and along with the beak are sharp enough to carve through planetoids of Tungsten. Their wings are also themselves very powerful with each wing being able to change cosmic wind currents and together able to create a directional blast similar to a Gama ray burst.
Genetics and Reproduction
They, like earthly birds, are capable of laying unfertilized eggs. To create a fertilized egg they require another Ziz to swallow the egg where they will ferment in the body and then give live birth.
Ecology and Habitats
They live in the upper realms of Heaven and soar across the void around Heaven and upper reaches of Vanaheim and Álfheimr.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Behemoths are usually peaceful and only devour space dust, gas and the matter of the stars and sometimes eat planets.

Facial characteristics
The entirety of the face is placed on the large, curved beak. On each side of the beak at the top they have 2 large bright white eyes that emit light. The beak appears glass like and bright blue. From the sides on the back of the beak are a long pair of whisker like feathers.
Geographic Origin and Distribution
Nearly the entirety of their species reside within Heaven with the rest mostly living in Vanaheim and Álfheimr.

They are as intelligent as Elephants.
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Across the entire body they have eyes which grant vision in all directions and see immense amounts of light and see immense detail identifying human sized individuals despite their immense size.

Body Tint, Colouring and Marking
The legs are Bright gold, pitch black feathers with points of light appearing across all the feathers appearing like stars. The beak is bright blue and appears glass like. The feathers along the tip of the wings and tail are blindingly bright orange.
