Aorelia
Aorelia is the capital city of the kingdom of Lupear and the residence of House Aorelis, its royal family. It is located on the eastern shore of the Lupean Sea, a large fresh water lake in the middle of Leanor. There are two points at which the river exits the lake, combining into one large river further downstream. Aorelia was built on the triangle between the Lupean Sea and the two branches of the river.
The city itself is split into a number of different districts. Firstly, in the south of the city on its highest point, the castle of House Aorelis is located. Around the castle, the cities wealthiest and most influential live in large, intricately decorated stone houses. On the shore of the Lupean Sea, the city has a trade port, next to which the market district can be found. This district is slightly less wealthy than the castle district but still quite well off.
In the northern part of the city, there is the craftsmen's district. People here live a simpler life and are generally less rich, though most still make a decent living. This cannot be said about the inhabitants of the easternmost district of the city, where the poorest inhabitants of Aorelia live. Visitors are generally warned to stay out of this area, since it is not unheard of for people to get robbed or even killed over some food or money here.
The last important place in the city is the Temple of the Seven in the centre of the city. This is not not technically a district, but rather the temple itself and a few adjacent buildings where the priests live and work. After the fall of the Acadean Empire, the temple in Aorelia became the largest of its kind and has since become the central place of worship for the believers in the Seven.

The city is the political, economical and cultural heart of the kingdom. Its central location in the kingdom and access to all rivers in Lupear make the city an important trade hub for both the kingdom and all of Leanor.
Unlike in the neighbouring kingdoms, Eleonis and Aguilear, which consist of several lordships, each governed by a Lord, one of which is King as well, Lupear has been ruled by one mostly undisputed royal family since it was founded, a family which resides in Aorelia.
