Militsiya

The Militsiya are the police force active in the Krasnygorod Municipality as well as aboard Novo Mir Station, the latter answer to the former. Both forces though answer to the Department of Internal Security (OVB). Both forces though are organised along the same lines; each is divided into the following divisions;

Emblem: Red star on a white shield, in the centre of the star is the hammer & sickle in gold (Specialist units such as Special Tactics, Rapid Response & the Political Directorate have their own unique emblems to differentiate themselves from the rank and file).

Uniform: Patrol members wear khaki fatigues with the emblem on their shoulder patches as well as on their caps. Special Tactics wear all black, again the emblem is on their shoulder patches and hats or caps. Those in the Counter Piracy unit wear all blue coveralls as well as high vis gear (lifejackets), Counter Smuggling wear khaki as the regular patrol members. Rapid Response members were camo fatigues; urban in the city, standard forest or desert camo when operating outside the city. Traffic wear dark blue pants, sky blue shirts, black ties and blue caps. Commisars and members of the Investigation division can wear civies and frequently do.

Sidearm: KMW P9 – a 9mm Makarov caseless autopistol, fifteen round magazine, standard issue for Patrol & Traffic officers. KMW P40 - .40 cal caseless autopistol, twelve round magazine, standard issue for Special Tactics, Counter Terrorism & Investigations members. Nagant 45 – .45 cal magnum caseless revolver used by Rapids. Nagant AE50 – .50 cal Action Express autopistol, thirteen round magazine, also used by Rapids.

Other Equipment: Bizon 9mm SMG, KMW 762 – an assault rifle issued to Special Tactics, Rapid Response, Counter Piracy & Counter Smuggling, chambered for a 7.62mm Sov caseless round, has a thirty round magazine. Can be fitted with a starlight scope and an underslung 40mm grenade launcher (smoke, tear gas, stun). WLVRN 7.62 – bullpup assault rifle chambered for 7.62mm Soviet caseless rounds, forty round magazine. Comes with fixtures for mounting various scopes. Used by Rapid Response. Nagant SRB – bolt action sniper rifle, .50 cal fitted with a starlight scope and neuralink intergration, seven round magazine. Nagant SRA – 7.62mm caseless sniper rifle, like the SRB fitted with neuralink intergration, starlight scope and comes with a twelve round magazine. Both rifles are used by Special Tactics and Rapid Response.

Vehicles: Toyo-Lada Corona; standard vehicle for Patrol & Traffic, VW Raptor; motorcycle employed by Traffic, Mikoyan Grumman Buran; shuttlecraft, Gage KMW Basilisk APC; employed by Rapid Response, Gage KMW Taipan; employed by Special Tacitics & Rapid Response Toyo-Lada Patroller; SUV employed by Patrol, Special Tactics & Rapid Response.
