Eli Brenner (a.k.a. Iron Jaw)
Your typical southern Good ol' Boy. Granted, most of the 'boy' has been removed. Eli has been obviously extensive cybernetic enhancement. The most notable features being his titanium lower jaw and his military grade Syntheticos forearms. Brenner works as a Commander and part-time as a recruiter for the Neo-Mortals and always strives towards bettering the working conditions for the men and women under his command.
Before the events of WWIII, Brenner was an avid anti-augment Puritan (the Puritans were not a political group at this point). After being drafted into the military in 2026, Eli was shipped off to Russia to help fight for the U.S. It was only until a routine patrol near Saint Petersburg triggered a landmine that blew his jaw, arms, and legs off rendering him an unrecognizable road feature. It was around this time that the cybernetics manufacturer Syntheticos partnered up with the United States Military to experiment on injured soldiers. Brenner was chosen, among others, to be a guinea pig for experimental sub-dermal and external implants that eventually saved his life.
After being honorably discharged from the Military following his release from the hospital, Brenner's changed mentality on the benefits of cybernetics caused him to do a complete 180 on his views and became an advocate for medical enhancement. While he does respect people choosing to embed themselves with augments, Brenner's main focus is to fight for people to have access to the same life-changing opportunities he had and believes that everything should be done with care and moderation.
Brenner joined the Neo-Mortals in 2038 and has since fought against the violent Puritans he once called friends.
Physical Description
Body Features
Brenner is built like an ox, however the sleek black arm and leg augments do nothing if not to add do his bulkiness. He stands a menacing 6'3" and generally towers over all near him, save for a few.
Facial Features
Brenner has a titanium jawline that extends down his throat and branches off into reinforced collarbones and are subtly branded as 'Syntheticos'. Shrapnel scars run the length of his face and detachable 'flesh panels' are visible on the back of his neck.
Physical quirks
When he talks you can hear the slight mechanical din of hinges and pistons at work in his artificial jaw. His augments are warm to the touch as his blood is still being pumped through all of the synthetic material.

Eli wears typical T-Shirts and jeans almost daily and has no care for fashion or eccentricity.
