Ottamon Vuurvuist
King Ottamon Vuurvuist (a.k.a. The lone king)
Ottamon is a sad but wise king. He became king after his father and older brothers died in the battle of Hammershorn in the year 1145.
Unwilling to see his people suffer he signed a peace treaty with the humans 3 years later, giving up the independence of Tur-Inan. This was ill received by the dwarves at first, but with the new trade opportunities and increasing wealth, resistance faded in the next decades.
In 1152 Ottamon's wife Ashala was killed by rebelious dwarfs in an attempt on his life. He survived, but at the cost of his right leg.
For 100 years Ottamon ruled fanatically, irradicating all rebellion and leading all tribes into a merchant, rather than a warrior society.
Reaching the age of 200, the king arranged a marriage to ensure the Vuurvuist bloodline. With the marriage of the only 80 years old Manadred Opalskin, daughter of chieftain Carl Opalskin, Ottamon also greatly increased his offspring's claim to the throne.
After years without succes Manadred gave birth to two sons eventually. Arfell and Gornak.
