Karutarsis, the God Drinker
Karuta Hasapis (a.k.a. Karutarsis)
The name Karutarsis is one that is forbidden in many parts of the world out of both fear and disgust.
Legend says that a man named Karutar slew a god and drank it's blood to become a god himself. Only those who claim to descend from his line recognize Karutarsis as a deity of worship. And though all of the world contests his legitimacy his Scions are capable of clerical magics when they call upon his name.
Ancient Psalm attributed to the Slain God:
Once there was a god that lived among men,
paradise followed, never seen it's like again.
She taught the lesser of peace and complacency,
to live and love and then to die.
Never would the lesser have risen,
never would the greater have fallen.
if the blood was never spilt
and She had never slept.
