Nightshrooms

'sup, Steadies? Your homegirl Charlie here with a guide on shrooms! No, not that kind. Hallucinogens are a premium subscriber subject! Hah! No, uhm, I'm not even kidding there. You want information on recreational materials, I have special videos for that. I'm just not gonna go all owl on you and try to actively sell you stuff, but the info's there if you're curious.   Where was ... Shrooms! So, let's talk about the Nightshrooms, shall we? You probably have eaten them quite a lot in recent years. Now the Nightshrooms are so-called because they originate from the Nightwood, where both Homesteaders and scientists ended up gathering specimen for research. And turns out that these mushrooms are spoiled brats! On a planet with an eternal sun, they're the type that only grows properly in total darkness! Or well, close enough to total really. Shaking my damn head at them.   Now you might be saying, the Nightwood? Wait, that's illegal! Yes, nowadays it is. Back in the days, there was a bit more optimism before they went, y'know what, this is a horrible, HORRIBLE idea and maybe we shouldn't risk the murder bears. So they did score some material back then, but aren't about to repeat that.   So obviously stuff like Blackwood trees won't grow well outside the Nightwood, but for the Nightshrooms, turns out darkness and the proper soil are easy enough to simulate for us here. If you get the mix and treatment just right, they grow wonderfully. And they taste delicious! Which is why nowadays, most Homesteaders grow them at home. Added bonus that they really help clean up the soil, so you can let it recover from other crops. Some even have an ultimate mixture growing them together, but usually you need to alternate as the shrooms really need that darkness and other crops praise the sun. Star. I know. Rolling eyes at the comments I'm about to get about that.   Anyway, I won't cover the right soil composition and whatnot, that's legal stuff. Yadieyadieya, legal disclaimers, etcetera. How about you hold up and let me cook?! No seriously, I am uploading a recipe video as well on how to make delightful roasted Nightshroom skewers. So leave a like then hop on to the next video!
