Our government is marred in controversy. The military leads us while pretending not to be military, or in charge. Our representatives purely represent their own greed. The so-called universal support is manipulated to keep us in line. Vaccines are but a tool to keep us living in fear. But no controversy is as big as those who call themselves the Battle Spears.   They tell us that the Battle Spears are deliberately independent, functioning outside the law to protect the independence of the scientists. But let me ask you, are they really just outside the law? Then why do they walk our streets incognito, going out, getting into clubs, into fights, all the while being able to kill you with their bare hands? Is that really outside the law, rather than aside the law, when they walk in our midst only to be able to pull out that extraterritoriality as an ultimate defense? Even a corrupt Defender will still face their own corrupt court, but there is no such thing restraining these beasts.   And do not forget their active role in the leash around our necks. They say their precious superserum somehow makes them immune to that devilish disease called Black Lung. Then why do they not spread that? If the serum really helps, then why aren't we all exposed to it? If rarity is a problem, then why can they afford to give thousands high doses, but not all of us a diluted version? It's not the serum. Black Lung is a lie, and they know it. And they help maintain that lie, as it keeps them in power.   Speaking of power... We all know power corrupts. The military has shown this, as despite all the measures meant to reduce their power over time, they are clinging more onto what they have with every day that goes by. So what does that tell us about the Battle Spears? They say the serum is far more effective on Ymir, so they show far greater strength than they did back on Earth. Do we really trust them with that? When they already lie to us? No. We cannot trust these supersoldiers. To this day, they refuse to protect us from the threats at our door. It is time to admit why.   Because they are the threat inside our homes.
