Kal Alderleaf
Kal Alderleaf is the son of Quelline Alderleaf, and the boyfriend of Elsa Northbrook.
Kal has always been a dreamer. His favourite times during the year were when bards and troubadours would travel through Phandalin, and regale the village with tales and songs. Before the destruction of Phandalin, he worked the farm alongside his mother; but deep down he dreamt of exploring the world and doing heroic deeds worthy of the bard's songs. He would never admit it, but secretly he's oddly thankful that Phandalin was destroyed. Otherwise he would probably never have had the opportunity to seek a different life.
Now he and Elsa have formed an adventuring party. He has shown a surprising aptitude for bardic magic. And with the addition of Snakey the Kenku, and Serax the Iskathi, their party is becoming quite formidable.
