Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Mycroft spent a lot of his life being compared to broomsticks and stringbeans - tall and remarkably lean. He has managed to put a little muscle on his frame over time, but it hasn't changed the general shape of it much. He is a hale and hearty lad, though, despite his preference for leisure over exercise.

A prominent chin, slender face, and rather delicate eyebrows.

- A remarkable (some have said inhuman) degree of recollection; he can recall, verbatim, entire books he's read.

Intellectual Characteristics
There are few things that the Holmes siblings have in common - beyond their inherent intelligence and a shared history - and that difference continues in their personalities. Mycroft has never felt the societal pressures that Charlotte does, and thus isn't as angry or determined as his sister to prove people wrong. He has a vivacious and sometimes manic energy and a need to put people at ease in his presence. He makes an excellent host and enjoys having the opportunity to display those skills (as long as someone else does the work preparing for the party). He can come across as haughty or very much of the opinion he is the smartest man in the room (and frequently is, which is beside the point). He has been described by those that cross his path as slightly eccentric in behavior and thought, and a bit too progressive by some of his colleagues, due to his thoughts on the role of women.
