Sennoki
The nation of the Nukari.
Culture
The Nukari are a peaceful people. They fiercely protect their arboreal nation, especially from logging and water pollution. They welcome nearly anyone with peaceful intentions with open arms, but will not hesitate to become inhospitable should their guests become adversarial. The Nukari have adopted a feudal-like society built on a warrior ethos combined with a philosophical relationship with the natural world and foreign relations.
While it is not common, every now and then an especially curious or especially rebellious Nukari will venture out into the wider world, to even include into the Delian Empire, to see what the world at large has to offer.
History
One of the biggest historical claims to fame for Sennoki is that this relatively small nation was single-handedly responsible for ending the Delian Empire expansion across the continent. Sennoki utilized gorilla warfare to push back the Delian forces, protecting their forests and their nation.
Demography and Population
Sennoki is almost entirely made up of Nukari. However, over the years, their culture of honor has appealed to enough foreigners of various ancestries that a handful of others are sprinkled throughout.
Technological Level
Despite living in the trees, Sennoki enjoys all of the technological advances of the world with the exception that they still hold a grudge against the Delians and refuse to adopt magitech. They have, instead, developed their own method of symbiotically harvesting energy from trees. The need for an alternative to fire for lighting and cooking was needed due to how often citizens were burning down their homes. This is a secret that they guard ferociously. Most of the native inhabitants don't even know how the energy is produced.
Foreign Relations
Sennoki is friendly or neutral towards most other nations except for the Delian Empire. While the Delians have taken a neutral stance towards Sennoki, the Sennokans do not feel the same way.
