Personal history
Emperor Narivrax was born Yang Chenglong in the Southern island nations [COME UP WITH A DIFFERENT NAME?]. She was born to a warrior father and a studious mother - both golden Drakona, which are very rare. It was her parent's expectation that Chenglong would grow up to be a warrior and serve in the Royal Guard, like her father had. In that pursuit, Chenglong's father took up her daylight hours with physical and martial training. In the evenings and on weekends, Chengleng's mother poured over history, philosophy, strategy, and art.
At 14, Chengleng was the youngest initiate into the Royal Guard in their nation's history. By the time she was 20, she realized her values didn't align with their monarch's and her ambition to replace them was solidified. At the age of 25, Chengleng challenged the King to ritual combat - a fight to the death. The King's advisors advised against the fight, as did Chengleng's parents. It was no surprise that she won. What was surprising was how close the fight had been. Despite his advanced years and years of not fighting his own battles, he managed to beat Chengleng to within an inch of her life. The King saw that she was beat and he made the mistake of turning his back to her in a pre-mature celebration. Chengleng seized her opportunity and she thrust the pointy end of a broken spear through the King's back and pierced his heart.
It wasn't until years later that she was given the title Emperor and a new moniker to go along with it. Since then, She has been known only as Emperor Dralara Narivrax I.
