Yobodji

The Yobodji are dark-skinned, cannibal elves from the Humbasi Highlands famous for their filed, pointy teeth. The Yobodji traditionally roam the wildest regions of the Djenagwi Forest in small tribes. They are elusive and strong in animism and witchcraft. Despite their periodic raids on Manasan cities, the empire's military has never been able to track the Yobodji down and bring them to heel. They have become something of a boogyman figure in Manasa, with parents telling their children to be good or the Yobodji will come in the night and eat them.   After Skyfire, a confederation of Yobodji tribes swept north and conquered the Lake Tahal region, forming the Kingdom of Adzade. As such, the Adza now represent a more "civilized" branch of the Yobodji while the elves remaining in the Humbasi Highlands retain the group's traditional, "savage" culture.
