Dwimmerland
The Dwimmerland is a mystical region in Icecrown. During the war between The Empire of Scale and Tisserian the region was battered by catastrophic levels of magic, blasting huge chunks of earth into the sky. The eldritch energies have never dissipated, and to this day islands of earth remain suspended in the sky. The islands remain covered in vegetation and are home to numerous flying creatures. The ground beneath them is marred by jagged craters hundreds of meters deep. This shattered landscape makes the area almost impassible on foot. The mystic energies that writhe through the Dwimmerland appear as mist to the mundane eye, obscuring sight-lines.
