The Edict of Atesi

Whereas,

Qupinor Eppova Qulia Ativia, Tola of the Calpian Empire did raise and march an army upon Saercumar in retaliation for the assassination of her beloved betrothed, Qupinor Lâinus of Saercumar, Banbimum Tolusat of the Empire, and

Whereas,

I, The Most Imperial and Calpian Majesty, Etpimcemus Qulus Ativius Heiccitager, R̂oldavus of the Empire, did command my adopted daughter, the Tola Eppova not to attack or otherwise harrass the city of Saercumar, and

Whereas,

She did, with full knowledge of My will and Command, proceed to attack and raze Saercumar to the ground, putting all inhabitants of that utepa to the sword, and the aristocracy thereof doing so by her own hand, and

Whereas,

No sovereign ruler may allow such a mutiny against their direct Command,

Be it therefore Known that I, Etpimcemus Qulus Ativius Heiccitager, R̂oldavus of the Empire,

Hereby, with My full Sovereign Authority Proclaim

That Eppova Qulia Ativia is hereby disinherited, having no further claim to the throne of the Empire, and

Hereby, with My full Sovereign Authority Proclaim

That the region until now known as the Imperial Tolusaux of Dacciia shall henceforth be known by whatever name the Tola Eppova chooses, but that it shall be henceforth beyond the protection of the Empire.

Resolved as the Just Judgment of the Imperial Crown on this Twenty-First day of the Month of Clictuns in the Year One Thousand Four Hundred Thirty One of the Latter Era.
