Sloem Meilsæz daughter of Pengeik, The Geirs of Spaf (a.k.a. Meilsæz Tekvietemakt of Clan of Bronzemakers)
Mental characteristics
Personal history
Born to the Clan of Bronzemakers in 1331 LE, Meilsæz was raised both in the traditional dwarven crafting traditions of her clan and schooled in statecraft by her father, Geirs Peneik. She is his only child.
She ascended the throne in 1399 LE, on her father's death and was formally consecrated on Commitment Day 1400 LE.
So far, her most significant political decision has been to marry Veztun of Gning in 1387 LE, at the age of only fifty-five. Their union began as a strategic alliance between Spaf and Zalt, but it has evolved into a genuine partnership. It combines Spafi metallurgical expertise with Gningi technological innovation, creating what many consider the most technologically potent alliance in Tunsaccia.
Her marriage has strengthened Spaf's international position, but it has created internal tensions among traditionalist dvaer factions and raised questions about dynastic succession. Meilsæz has remained publicly silent on succession plans, leading to speculation about potential adoption.
Her reign has been marked mostly by the recent development of steel-making technologies, and her negotiations with the Calpians to provide steel arms and armaments since their supply of tin for bronzemaking is compromised.
