Kaelis Brisemer

Kaelis Brisemer (a.k.a. Call Sign: Breaker)

Kaelis Brisemer was born in Abalone, a small but thriving City that lives in the shadow of the sea without ever touching it. The ocean was a constant presence there—salt on the wind, storm bells on the ridges, and caravans bearing fish and coral inland. Abalone did not produce sailors; it produced those who repaired what the sea damaged.   Kaelis learned to heal before he learned to fight. His hands grew steady binding caravan guards’ wounds, treating fishermen crushed by nets, and setting bones broken in storms no one had sailed through. From childhood he was taught a simple truth: the sea is not cruel, but it is honest. It does not care who you are—only whether you endure.   Seeking to do more than tend survivors after the fact, Kaelis left Abalone and signed on as a Medic aboard a coastal trade ship. He was not crew in the traditional sense; He kept people alive. On rolling decks and in freezing rain, he learned to stitch flesh while lightning split the sky, to choose who could be saved when time ran thin, and to keep his fear locked behind discipline.   Storms were his proving ground.   It was during one such storm—violent even by seasoned sailors’ standards—that fate intervened. A lightning strike shattered the mast, men were thrown screaming into the sea, and Kaelis was dragged overboard while hauling an injured sailor to cover. The waters should have claimed him.   Instead, beneath the crashing waves, Kaelis saw Denna.   A massive Blue Tiger Shark, luminous and terrible, moving through the deep with absolute purpose. The storm above raged, yet the water around Kaelis fell still. Denna did not speak—but understanding flooded him all the same.   Hold fast. Choose who lives. Do not fear the storm, Become its will.   Lightning did not strike Kaelis—it answered him. The sea bore him upward, strength filled his limbs, and he clawed his way back to the wreckage with power that was not his own. When the storm passed, more of the crew lived than any had a right to expect.   Kaelis left the ship after that voyage. He returned briefly to Abalone, but he no longer belonged to quiet places. Thunder followed his footsteps. Storms answered his breath. Kaelis sought purpose, Kaelis sought to blend his purpose for saving lives, with Denna's will.   Denna did not call Kaelis to still the sea. Denna called him to act within it.   When Kaelis learned of the Blackaxel Cartel’s Search and Rescue Operations, the decision was immediate. Their airships—capable of flying into storms rather than waiting for them to pass—offered something no temple or navy could: time. Minutes saved lives. Altitude conquered distance. Speed beat prayer alone.   Kaelis joined the Cartel not for gold or allegiance, but purpose.   Aboard Blackaxel airships, Kaelis serves as a Storm Response Medic, deploying directly into wreckage, raging seas, and collapsing hulls. He heals while lightning strikes nearby, calls thunder to clear debris, and uses the storm itself as a shield. To Cartel crews, he is both unnerving and indispensable. To sailors, his arrival in a tempest is an omen of survival.   Kaelis Brisemer does not pray for calm seas.   He prays for strength enough to stand when the waves come—and for judgment enough to know when the storm must break something so others may live.   When lightning splits the horizon and a blue-striped shadow moves beneath the waves, Denna is watching.   And Kaelis is already on his way.

New Team, who this?
23 Solus 9998. Eufstag - Aqor Dennas

Scene 1: Gigatronix captured, first mission as a new team. The team is exhausted, wounded, and we need to replenish our resources. Patched up Foxglove from my...earlier misstep. It's been weird working together with members of other teams here. It was rough. We lost Perdue in the fight to submit this fiend. She was part of the Erasers. That'll complicate things, trying to transport this....person without people noticing. We'll need to find a way to get to Azura from here to complete the next part of our objective. Not my area of expertise but we'll have to find a way to make that work. Hoping Foxglove has some ideas since this kinda falls more into her realm than...well search and rescue. Perdue would probably know. The damn savage.....   Perdue's death was brutal, Gigantrix cannot be allowed to be free. We'll get him to HQ and they'll deal with him for sure. We got to work using parts and metal plates, tubes, and various parts around this hanger to construct this....weird looking crab, but he fits inside, and moves. Check, and check. Now to move up to the streets and make our way to the RV. Making our way through the main streets parading this crab like a float for the days festivities. As we....scuttle into the busier parts of town we meander into larger crowds of people. More people to pay attention to this thing. We get closer to our subway RV. Fox and I go to scout ahead since we'll need to find a way to get Giga out of this Mecha Crab at some point. It's a lot emptier over here, this will work just fine. We find our designated area and wave the others over. We cut into the tarps blocking access to the subway area down below. It stinks....warm, stagnant air. Racid waters, and slimy steps. I slip down the first few steps before catching myself. Uhg....disgusting.   Streets sweeper robots start up cleaning what seems like an already pretty clean area down here. Unlike the stairs to get down here. Jainora manages to gain control of one of them so that we can mount the bound Giga to it and use it to transport him to the car we need to get too. Once we get that done and loaded up we find a map....C23....that's what we're looking for. turns out it's labled "Nightingales"....sounds about right. The team proceeds.....man it is ridiculously clean down here where these bots are. Forward we go.....   Scene 2: Gigatronix stirs....everyone noticed. Is this him waking, or something else? I prepare for any medical intervention but....I don't think that's what this is. I keep an eye on him....and stay ready to help or restrain. We need him alive to turn into Cartel command....we're all ready to take what action we need. His mana shackles flux with a glowing light, indicating that....something is happening. The Mana lamps flick off, we're encased in darkness now....they flick back on shortly after, something is off though. Or it feels off, no - different. the runes on his restraints now glow not randomly but together.   Gigatronix looks at us now, not with rage or intent. Just, recognition. Then suddenly the subway car starts moving. Hexpistol, the destination that reads on the notice lights in the car. That's in Solusi Simoli, the Fey wilds.....that's. not. good. Gigatronix suddenly starts choking....I have Jainora remove the gag so I can check his airways. He's regurgitating white fluids and what seems to be insect guts almost. his abdomin is swelling, and Jainora tells me that something is going on and that something must be pupating inside of him. What the hell could have caused this?! A....a pixie just tore out of Gigatronix's....a fucking Pixie?! standing at 15" tall...what the hell is she doing?! She's summoning good Berrys....what the hell?   I clean out the wound where she tore out of, and stitch him back up using silk strand cast to stabilize him again. We rest in shifts now that the pixie settles into Foxgloves hair. We're just along for the ride now, pretty sure we've been abducted by the Fey, not so much a BlackAxel Cartel secret squirl additional mission type deal. Great.....not much we can do now then, so we get some rest and just see what happens when we get to Hexpistal.   We spend an additional day traveling underground, gigatronix wakes up but is well restrained, thankfully. The pixie, Luna mentions "The gosimer"....context clues lead me to believe it's a title of some sort, an authority figure of some sort?
