Nepitha

The Wisp Nepitha of Mystwood (a.k.a. The Wisp, Nature, Life)

Nepitha, better known as The Wisp is an incorporeal Aspect presiding over Nature with many overlaps of other Aspects, often lending to the fact that life is intangible and belongs to a larger, more complex ecosystem. Her domain of nature is broad, spanning from all plant and animal life cycles -excluding aquatic life- to common weather phenomenon such as rain, wind and snow. She also claims responsibility over disease and disease control, reproduction and general health. Nepitha's descended form changes for reasons still being studied and has appeared as dozens of unique persons throughout history. For over 400 years however her form has reflected an early-twenties Leonus Tiefling female with forward-facing Gaur-like horns. When descended Nepitha always appears in pastel green hues akin to the first blossoms of Feyspring and every form appears female, portraying fertility and innocence.   Nepitha's creation of Wisper Co., Beaumont's largest conglomerate of medical equipment manufacturers, educational facilities, first-aid suppliers and hospitals and complete agricultural suppliers places the Wisp in nearly every household and neighborhood across the confederation. Their facilities range from neonatal care to retirement facilities, microbiology laboratories to farm and feed stores, animal sanctuaries and rehabilitation centers to plant nurseries and home first-air remedies to advanced Necromancy colleges. Wisper promotes all of Beaumont's doctors, nurses and health-care providers, maintain all 4H programs and inspect every commercial agricultural provider for quality, food an animal safety and proper technique and education. Recent estimates reveal as many as 97% of children by the age of 3 months have been introduced to or have consumed a product from Wisper Co. making the corporation the largest-reaching in all of Beaumont, toppling even Kaiden.

Personal history

Little is known about The Wisp's origins or if She is responsible for the species of wisps residing in many of Beaumont's countless trees. Her origins are confounded further by answers given to her Vox Ultima when asked where she was born and where, if anywhere she chooses to permanently reside. Documented answers confirm Nepitha claims to have been born in Mystwood and permanently resides in Willowbend, though neither existing in any known region of Beaumont and no such locations have been identified in any historic texts to date. Many consider Her words truthful however and argue Her divine nature allows Her to live in and visit other planes, one of which may contain the aforementioned settlements.

Gender Identity

Nepitha has always appeared feminine and uses She/Her pronouns.

Morality & Philosophy

Nepitha preaches the struggles and chaos that organic life endures and remains steadfast in Her approach that accidents, disasters, plights and plagues are not only natural but necessary to ensure a balanced global ecosystem. Her broad domain has firm ties with Ereshkigal, Ip & Okk, Vinnus, Kaida, Brynn, Magra and Denna, all of which respect the unpredictability of nature and welcome the loss, conflicts and struggles Her actions bring. While Aspects like The M'avar deal in death with an eternal mentality, Nepitha's view of death more closely resembles recycling by making use of the organic tissue to feed other organisms. When asked by her Vox Ultima if she feels remorse or regret for the loss she's responsible for, Nepitha has gone on-record to firmly state:
I feel only love and adoration for the cultivation of this beautiful world and sometimes that cultivation requires me to remove something precious so that other precious life can flourish.

Wealth & Financial state

Nepitha views wealth in terms of health, vitality and the preservation of Her morals and acceptance of Her unpredictability. She carries no material wealth and has publicly denounced the exchange of hard currency, stating it defies nature to create value in inked paper.
