As long as you dont mind the Reaping and can deal with the other carious dangers, it is a truly wonderful place to visit. Just... dont go getting the idea that you can hunt one of the the cloudtusks. It wont end well.The bamboo-filled Cloudtusk Plains is a breathtaking expanse of nature unlike any other. This mystical land stretches across rolling hills blanketed in dense forests of vibrant, emerald-green bamboo. Mist and low-hanging clouds weave among the towering stalks, creating an ethereal atmosphere that shimmers with a faint golden hue during sunrise and sunset. The plains get their name from the majestic Cloudtusks that roam the skies above them. When flying at height, one would hardly believe that they are the reason that no permanent settlements exist on the plains. The tusks of a cloudtusk posess a magical property to cleave through most materials in our world. Stone, flesh, bone, and of course the bamboo that makes up a majority of their diet. Of course simple feeding isn't that dangerous as long as you keep your wits about your, no, it is The Reaping of the Cloudtusk Plains that you really need to watch out for. Still, for those that regularly venture through the plains, and the creatures that call it home, there is little enough danger. Cloudtusks aren't exactly subtle, and when it The Reaping usually cloudtusks only take off the to foot or so bamboo. The rest of the native fauna consists of several species of panda, as they have evolved to fill most ecological niches. Herbivors, such as the small Blossom panda that lives up in canopy of the stalks, abound along with carnivorus species such as the Moonshadow panda that stalk the ground. The seasons paint a symphony of color across the plains. Spring breathes new life into the plains. The bamboo forests erupt with shoots of fresh green, their growth almost audible as they stretch toward the sky. Delicate blossoms bloom in abundance, their pink and white painting the undergrowth with soft colors. The streams swell with melted ice, their banks adorned with vibrant flowers glowing faintly in the moonlight. The cloudtusks are particularly active during this time, performing intricate aerial dances as they court and bond. The Blossom Pandas become especially vibrant, their fur hues deepening to match the flourishing flora. Rain showers are frequent but gentle, nurturing the land and casting ephemeral rainbows through the mist. In summer, the plains bask in golden sunlight that filters through the dense canopy of bamboo, casting dappled patterns on the forest floor.
