Gorlami Boulderson

Gorlami Boulderson was born in the stronghold of Numonnuszkal, on the foothills of the Gonnak mountains, where he spent his early years surrounded by books, artifacts, and the echoes of ancient history. He was an exceptional student, and his love of learning and thirst for knowledge soon brought him to the capital city of Tajj Netta’s prestigious University of Suszeng, where he studied history and archaeology.   After graduation, Gorlami became a researcher and lecturer of the university, where he quickly made a name for himself as an expert in the legends and myths of the ancient world. He spent years poring over ancient texts, deciphering forgotten languages, and taking expeditions to remote and dangerous locations in search of historical treasures.   One such expedition would change Gorlami's life forever. On the western edge of the Gonnak Mountains, he came upon the site of what he named the “Battle of the Obsidian Plains”, discovering the ruined remains of a legendary conflict fought by an ancient civilization against an abhorrent beast. As he explored the battlefield, he was struck by a vision that filled him with an unbridled rage and a fierce sense of purpose.   At that moment, Gorlami was transformed. He saw the legacy of the ancient world, threatened by those who would exploit and destroy it, and he felt called to protect it. He embraced his newfound powers and became a warrior-scholar, using his berserker rage to defend historical sites and artifacts from those who would do them harm.   Gorlami has since become a guardian of truth in his own right, traveling the world and defending the cultural heritage of the ancient past. He has battled against marauding bandits and plunderers of ancient sites. And through it all, he has remained true to his calling, using his extensive knowledge and his fierce spirit to protect the legacy of the ancients.   Today, Gorlami is a member of the empire-led expedition into the Southern Desert, where he hopes to both learn and document the historical history of the area, while also ensuring that the empire does not attempt to take ancestral artifacts from their rightful place. He is a formidable presence, both in battle and in the halls of learning, and he remains dedicated to preserving the cultural heritage of the world for future generations. “The Battle of the Obsidian Planes”   Gorlami’s greatest achievement, the discovery of an ancient and previously untouched last stand at the “Battle of the Obsidian Planes.” Little is known of the true purpose of the large obsidian obelisks that pierce the land just west of the Gonnak Mountains. But undoubtedly a monumental battle was fought at this site. Gorlami and a small team of anthropologists and archeologists uncovered decaying weapons and armors lost to the ages around these obelisks. At the battle site's center, and what Gorlami predicts was the aggressor in this legendary conflict is a husk of an ancient and abhorrent monster. A beast unrecognizable by the leading biologists, zoologists, and arcanists in all of Tajj Netta. The origin and purpose of the battle are lost to time. Although studying the ancient husk of the beast have shown that there might be something deep inside that has awoken from uncovering its ancient burial site. Since the discovery, and the accidental infection of (Miles’ Character). Archaeological sites of the “Battle of the Obsidian Plains” were hastily ceased.   Gorlami will not rest until he has helped (Miles’ Character) purge the ancient and unknown creature from his body and mind.
