Citizen Caste/ Homo Sapiens:
Natural born citizens are merely one of several castes in the new empire. While still being the largest caste, new genetically augmented clones grown for specific roles are now an integral part of the empire. Citizens make up the bulk of the population and workforce. They are the least augmented of the castes. The most "baseline human" as it gets nowadays.
Slave Caste/ Homo Terium:
Clones augmented to be servile and submissive make up the servant caste. They can be often found serving wealthy citizens and government organizations since they are an expensive commodity. Bred too weak and too few in number to be any real threat to the populace. To prevent any unwanted breeding, all members of this group are sterilized and exclusively female.
Leader Caste/ Homo Primaris:
Leading the empire, just below the Diarchs are the societal elite. Super humans with access to genetic augmentations and advanced cybernetics. They are the only ones able to breed outside their caste.
Military
Legionary class:
Career military. The imperial legionnaires are technically a sub class of the civilian caste. They are pooled from the ranks of the gifted and the strong then forged in the imperial academies to serve as officers and specialist roles like mech pilot or tactical shock troops. Comprised of un-augmented humans for the most part. They make up the bulk of battlefield leadership and elite units.
Citizen Soldier:
Grunts levied from the civilian populace. Answers to the Legionary class. Serve for limited terms.
Warrior Caste/ Homo Segunda:
While autonomous machines of war make up the bulk of the armed forces. They are supplemented by an elite corps of genetically enhanced super human warriors. Theses vat grown super soldiers hold no rights under imperial law but are expected fight and die all the same, making them the dedicated warrior caste. They live for nothing other than combat, forever expanding or defending the borders of the empire. While small in number due to the time and resources it takes to grow one, they are still an integral part of the military. Providing that needed edge of human cunning and unpredictability to any operation. To prevent any unwanted breeding, all members of this group are sterilized and exclusively male.
