Shepherd's Arms
Shepherd's Arms is a town and civil parish in the Etorean Midlands it lies on the border of two counties (X & Y). Historically the village was dominated by the brewing industry, it is currently home to the Red Star Brewery and the Olympic Brewery.
The town takes it's name from the coaching inn that was situated on what is now the high street, the first houses were built when three travellers built houses near to the inn. Two became fishermen as Lake Bartlett and two the River ()'s tributaries boast a plentiful supply of fish whereas the other set up a small brewery to provide cheaper alternatives for The Shepherd's Arms. The three travellers married women from two nearby towns and within five years of the initial houses being built what was once a singular inn now was a hamlet with a shop and a small chapel.
