Grand Duchess Constance's Royal Coach
The Royal Coach of Grand Duchess Constance Bonneville (NRM object № 052-1867) was built by the South Etorea & North Sea Coast Railway for the openeing of the railway in 1867. The coach was specially built for the Grand Duchess Constance Bonneville as she was the one who opened the line to the public. After the ceremony the coach was used as a private coach for the family of Arthur Buckley with two other coaches being built for the other founders. The coach was retired in 1910 and put on display at Tarnmouth Station, later being given to the National Railway Museum for restoration and preservation.
It is currently Coupled between №22001 and NMR Composite №117 and is on display at he NRM's site at Hawes.
