Cocker Valley Railway

The Cocker Valley Railway (CVR) was an Etorean industrial railway built to assist in the construction of the Cocker Valley Reservoirs in the Etorean Highlands. It was in operation from 1897 to 1922.

№944 was found to be under powered for working trains up to the reservoirs so was kept at Ledsbury to shunt the exchange sidings that were situated on the Knightsbury - Wistham Line but would also bank trains on occasion when others weren't available. While all steam locomotives carried their own identities from either past owners or as new from the factory, they were all renamed by 1907; carrying the names of places along the CVR. The only exceptions being №944 which carried her name from new and "Kirksham" which recieved her name after she was purchased from the ROD.
