Abbott, Wheatley & Co.

Abbott, Wheatley & Company were a rolling stock builder based in Eskbourne, Etorea from 1893 to 1965. The firm primarily produced railway wagons for both standard gauge as well as 600mm narrow gauge, though they also repaired wagons and coaches for either sale through an agent associated with Abbott & Wheatley or continued use by their owner.

Surviving Vehicles:
Glebe & Lyme Railway Diag. 104 №6 - Repaired by Abbott, Wheatley & Co., sold to the AC&RVCR and later used as a bothy.
