Bonnie Thomas Cooper
Bonnie Cooper (4th May 1903 - 13th October 1993) was an Etorean Railwayman of Romani decent.
He was born to Kezia and Erasmus Cooper in 1903 in a Gypsy camp near Harburn, his grandmother was a well known fortune teller and his grandfather was a jockey. When he was four years old, his sister Zelda was born with their brothers Aberama and John following in the 1910s. When he was 17, his family moved near Carnclare where he took up work on the West Carnclare Railway as an engine cleaner, becoming a driver in 1929.
