Indian Confederation

The Indian Confederation is a nation in Asia bordering Republic of China, Nepal, Tibet, Bhutan, Burma, Iran, Afghanistan, and a number of the Indian Princely States.

History

The Dominion of India was established from the British Raj following the impact on the Indian population from the Great War. Despite many protests, the British government elected to maintain the Princely States of the Raj in order to maintain order. However, the government of the Dominion pressured the monarchs to relinquish much of their power for the sake of unity. As a result, only the most powerful and wealthy of the monarchs kept their thrones.

During the World War, India was invaded by the German Empire in the south. The diminished Princely States sided with the Germans, and revolted against Great Britain. This led to the Indian Civil War, the Indian Front of the World War. The Princely States gained their independence, while the northern states became the Indian Confederation, still allied to the British.
