Formal Request of Declaration of War by James I,
King of America
November 8th, 1944
Yesterday, the American carrier strike group, en route to support our allies in Germany, was dishonorably attacked by the forces of the Imperial Japanese Navy and their allies. As I looked upon the reports, I must unfortunately inform the people that, as of now, there are no reported survivors. Our battle group sank and destroyed. Our men lost to the seas. It is with no pleasure that, I, James I von Lexington, King of these United States of America, have concurred with Chancellor Hull on the course of action. I formally request a declaration of war be made on the Empire of Japan, to see to it that our brave sailors, killed in action, did not die in vain. I fear that this decision is the true path, unavoidable in our resolve to right the wrongs put upon us at these undesirable times.
