American Royal Air Force Academy

The American Royal Air Force Academy, otherwise known as ARAFA, is one of the premier military institutes in the Kingdom of America. The Academy's navy counterpart is the American Royal Naval Academy, while the army counterpart if the American Royal Military Academy. The current superintendent is Lieutenant General Sir Neil "Dragon" Check.

The American Royal Air Force Academy is the foremost institute for training officers for the American Air Force.

History

The American Air Force was established as a separate branch from the Army in 1926. However, the ability to train officers and pilots remained under the jurisdiction of the Royal Military Academy. It was petitioned to King James I that a seperate academy be established for this purpose. The state of Freeman was recommended as the site of this academy.

The Academy's alumni include that of Princess Amelia.
