General Summary
The Fiery, spectacular fate of Monarch Lumi Wash passed into legend. An enduring lesson in the power of the Ninth Church.
The Barons of the March attempt to worm their way into the Palace was uncovered, and a number of arrests were made. Baron Mason Sotsona-Voshell ended his life chained upside=down to a dungeon wall.
The Chiefs of the North agreement with the ice giants fell apart, and the giants ended up attacking The North instead. The subsequent war kept The Chiefs of the North busy to worry about matters of the throne.
Shortly after Monarch Lumi Wash reign ended, the Inquisitors raided Count Trent Soul's castle and placed him under arrent for evil magic. As he burned, he screamed the secret name of the Seventh God.
The Patricians of the Coast attempt to buy the Kingdom ended in failure. Bankruptcies were filed. Marks were scratched in secret ledgers. The risk-reward calculus wasn't favourable. Perhaps next time.
The Inquisition's bonfires blazed in every street of the Kingdom. With heretics and dissenting voices disposed of, the Grandees of the South crowned Zylma Nazarine to rule over the ashes. The other Nobles did not dare protest.
