History
Once the capital of the Kingdom of the Sun Elves, it was left abandoned after they vanished. A popular local legend states that the first human settlers found food left mid-meal, etc. It has been the center of Orionism since it was settled, and the capital of the Empire of the sun for over 700 of the last 900 years.
Architecture
Marble and concrete is everywhere. Some buildings are made from wood, but this is a style only available to the wealthy and it is not overly common even among them.
Geography
The city includes a large amount of green space, it is built atop and among rolling hills of green grass, many fruit-bearing trees, ponds full of fish, and a generally lush environment. The desert begins immediately on the other side of the walls.
Natural Resources
Enough food products to feed the city and have a slight surplus, glass can be created from the desert sands, there are rumors that ores exist beneath the sands, but no one has been able to reach the underlying rock to verify them.
