Rhoswen
The leader of the Lycan order of blood hunters based in the city of Kalawesi-Nerridera in the Feywild. She is eladrin, and for a long time tended toward winter aspect. Her hybrid form is that of an Arctic wolf.
As the long time leader of her Convocation, she has never hesitated to take in and train aspirants who do not necessarily fit the mold of lycan blood hunters. Part of this can be attributed to her Convocation's decidedly scholarly bent, while another is a willingness to keep an open mind and even press the limits of the image of what a blood hunter can be.
Most of the time, this has proved extremely beneficial to the order as a whole, with postulants such as the gladiator Spelaeus Karhu, distinctly feline-natured Nebulosa, and archer Tristyn Paavola. One of her rare misjudgments was that of taking on an ambitious and devious young eladrin named Meiron, who nearly overthrew the order and planned to allow a demon-loving archfey named Arteagagarey to conquer Kalawesi-Nerridera.
After Meiron's takeover, Rhoswen spent some time in hiding in the Material Plane, until rejoining her student Iarwenys, who brought a party of friends to defeat both Meiron and Arteagagarey, returning Rhoswen to her rightful place as leader of the Convocation. She is still working to -- carefully -- rebuild the order.
